1962年生,江苏无锡人 1979年 成都地质学院三系放射性矿产地质专业获得学士学位 1986年7月 国家地震局地质研究所(中国科技大学研究生院)获构造地质专业硕士学位 1989年12月 国家地震局地质研究所(中国科技大学研究生院)获构造地质专业博士学位 1989年12月起在国家地震局地质研究所从事活动构造研究 1993年至1994年 东京大学理学部地理系作博士后研究 2014年2月至8月 受国家留学基金委资助在哈佛大学地球与行星科学系作高级访问学者 1996年12月至2018年12月 中国地震局地质研究所任活动构造研究员、副所长 2018年1月起 中国地震局地壳应力研究所任研究员、所长 个人荣誉奖励 1994年获中国地质学会第四届青年地质科技奖-金锤奖 1997年享受国务院政府特殊津贴 2000年获中国地震局“地震科考勇士”称号 2001年中共中央组织部、人事部、中国科学技术协会第七届中国青年科技奖 2003年获中国地震局科考勇士称号 2008年被中国科协授予抗震救灾先进个人 2009年被国家科技部授予野外科技工作先进个人 2010年被中国科协授予全国优秀科技工作者 2014年度科学通报编辑部最具贡献作者 2016年《鲁甸6.5级地震发震断层判定及其构造属性讨论》获陈宗器地球物理优秀论文奖
