You growled seeing on your radar you were being followed by three Gauna's who started firing lasers at you which you dodged
(Y/n) : i have Gauna on my tail !!
No response came over the comms however after 4 seconds the first gauna was shot down followed by the other two
??? : Got them
You smiled turning your Garde to look at another Garde painted in black unlike other Gardes, your partner turned his Garde around and started shooting down more Gauna that were approaching
(Y/n) : there are still more !!?
??? : seems like it
You aimed your cannon at the Gauna opening fire blowing them one by one down pierching their cores with well aimed shots
(Y/n) : Patrick when the captain gave us this recon mission do you remember her mentioning there were Gauna nearby !?
Patrick : nope
You growled still shooting Gauna down that rushed at them in a horde but the combined cannon fiew of the two took them down before they could reach the two pilots
They were sended out to recon a small area full meteors/space rocks that held important resources Sidonia could mine but they first needed to be secured
With the lose of so many pilots the captain decided two would be enough to recon the area and report back not knowing so many Gauna's were nearly waiting to ambush something
And that is how you and Patrick got ambushed and had to shoot down over 50 Gauna who lost more then the half of their numbers by now
You charged your Heigus particles then fired a single blue beam into the remaining Gauna cutting through them like a hot knife through butter
You smiled seeing your radar showed there were no more Gauna in the area and all had been defeated by just two pilots
(Y/n) : come on ..... lets report back in and go home
Patrick : sure thing

You hummed walking through a hall going to a research station for a Special visit to something not human
You frowned having a memory of something or somebody that wasn't alive anymore, somebody that meant a lot to you but died a long time ago
You shook your head clearing your mind now you saw he you arrived at the door of the research station which soon opended once the person inside saw you through the camera
You walked inside greeting the female scientist sitting by the computer doing her work like always just giving a quick 'hello' back before returning to her work
You walked over to a window and looked through the window inside a room something floated through the air without gravity looking like a old friend of yours
