The world of is not what it seems, Kyo Sogoru, a student in the city of Maihama, comes to realize. A chance meeting with a girl one day inadvertently thrust him into a world of battling giant robot. The world he been living in might not even be real at all.
Anyone who have watch Zegapain would find some similarity between the anime and the Matrix movies. The R1 volume 1 was just relese recently and I got myself the one that comes with an artbox. Ryoko arrive just in time too, to be the accompanying figure for these shots XD.
Not much in terms of extras, just the artbox and the dvd. The guy in the circle is the main character Kyo Sogoru.
I finally realize why it was called a fold out artbox, the top open up and the box can be split into two. Kinda cool looking but I would have prefer Bandai to include some sort of extras though.
The DVD main menu.
A screen cap of Zegapain Altair in the prologue.
Kyo and Ryko.

That is one oddball artbox xD
At least they are doing something different. Nothing beats the awesomeness of the Haruhi box though :p
Never saw Zegapain. Not an anime that grabs me, mechs aren’t my forte. Maybe if I watched it the story might grab me. Never know when a sale will entice me try it out xD
The figure is cute nonetheless =3
Never watch this show either, though the casting looks awesome (Yui Makino, Ayako Kawasumi…)
This box is very well done, that really makes you want to by it (and watch the anime haha) π
hmm never heard this one, is the anime good?
Nice box. Nice new blog layout too π
@aka_ugly~I agree Haruhi box is still the best :). The anime is pretty good imo, so grab it during Bandai next sales XD
@lu-k~hmm I didn’t know who was in the cast actually haha, and yeah sometimes the box itself can make you want to buy it and hopefully watch it too XD
@ron~the anime is a bit slow at the start but as it’s progress and more of the plot is reveal it gets better.
@danny~thanks π
Agreed, it’s a super sweet box there XD It’s made of paper? Or plastic? Man, from the looks of it, you can actually do a step-by-step transformation post on the box XD Awesome grab you’ve got there!
@shino~it’s made of cardboard π there’s isn’t really much steps require in transforming it, now if it were the transfomer movie box, that’s different XD
