Getsuyoubi no Tawawa or Tawawa on Monday is a bunch of panels or illustrations by Kiseki Himura. Himura has posted an illustration on his Twitter account every Monday starting from February 2015.
Overview
Tawawa is a bunch of illustration compiled in a series of 3-4 min video which was streamed online, According to Wikipedia the initial purpose of these illustrations was to provide a positive motivation towards workers and students on Monday mornings, this was done by two characters Ai and Salaryman in the anime. They occasionally have other characters doing something too, this anime is an ONA.

Fanservice on Mondays
If I had to summarize this ONA in one word it’d be boobs, a lot of boob covers the screentime over the characters but that’s fine because this anime barely lasts 4 min on an average. Tawawa has two basic perspectives, A man going to job on Mondays who meets a highschool girl and protects her in a crowded train and A hardworking salaryman and his junior. They are somewhat equally split and the premise is easy to follow and quite fun, it also has an extremely cute and fitting ending song to it. Getting back to the plot, the highschool girl is called Ai and in the other scenario the employees are nameless, they are simply called senpai and kouhai. This anime also has a linear flow of time, it does move unlike other animes where the mc is just 17 for 25 years
Breasts aside this anime has its moments my favourite being the kouhai piggybacking her senior and Ai revealing her name is also her cup size, I.
It’s fun while it lasts but some episodes are just literally nothing but fanservice and it gets repetitive. There is slight romance or somewhat slice of life as it approaches the end, the design of both the girl mc reminds me of a mix of Orihime from Bleach and Uzaki chan
Ai forms all the fanservice for the most part, which is also the reason why I like kouhai more, it’s more relatable and more fun. My favourite part of this anime was a 10-year reunion between childhood sweethearts which is heartwarming and cute.
Tawawa has some incredibly fun but weird stories tho, some of my picks are Ai giving her shirt’s button which burst because of her chest as a lucky charm to train dude, Ai causing a head injury to train dude due to her…well you know and The Senpai’s boss joining the gym because of a lady instructor. It also has illustrations which have amazing art and fun to read, that being said this anime doesn’t have much to complain or much to awe about hence the rating.
I can’t really write much about this as i finished the whole anime in under a hour straight, if you don’t have anything to watch and want something fun and quick you can give this a shot, as for the images above i think you get a point how will be the experience.

That brings about the end to this quick review, I got another post coming up super soon. I binged this while eating dinner. I thought I’ll write something on it as it wouldn’t be long and not a lot of people have seen this, for the “content” it provides I approve this and hope they adapt the further released chapters. There is a really popular illustration later on by the mangaka where a thicc ghost tries to jump out the screen but can’t fit.
