3 Marc Chagall Marc Chagall was born in Russia. Chagall’s parents were supportive of his passion of art, painting, printmaking, stained glass and designing.

4 Marc Chagall Chagall was one of nine kids. He moved to Paris and took on a style of bright colors and unrealistic images. He experimented with different styles of art but is known for Cubism and Expressionism. CHAMBON-sur-LAC

7 Joseph Pickett Joseph Pickett was born in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He lived in New Hope his entire life. Although he painted a great deal, Picket has only 5 known paintings.

8 Joseph Pickett Pickett spent most of his life as a carpenter, shipbuilder, carny and storekeeper. He first started painting when he was 65 years old! Pickett was known for his landscape paintings and depictions of towns. Coryell’s Ferry, 1776
