Summary
Diagnostic Keys
Presence of hard, spiny protrusion in the abdomen. Abdomen is flattened and characterized with alternate yellow-black parallel thick lines. Dorsally the carapace is covered with thick hairs. Sternum very narrow, marked with only a small yellow spot ventrally. Legs are strong, attach strongly to the web. The abdomen is broad, narrow proximal and wide distally. Two median spines are present distally.

    Description

     Carapace narrow anteriorly, brownish, covered with hair.

    Sternum heart shaped, pointed posteriorly, dark brownish with a large off white patch, covered with hair.
    Abdomen slightly octagonal, wider than long, brown with three off white bands on the dorsum.
    Legs short, brownish and covered with hair.

        Cephalothorax black in colour, covered white small white hairs. Chelicerae strong, stout and black in colour. Abdomen flattened, broader than longer, presence of hard and spiny protrusion and with alternate yellow-black parallel thick lines. Median spines are larger than the anterior and posterior spines. 5 distinct sigilla present at the posterior yellow band. Sternum very narrow, marked with only a small yellow spot ventrally. Legs are black and strong
