中文：:籌建文光公園序
本縣文光塔建自有明，位於城中，為全縣勝跡之一。塔周圍餘地成三角形，面積雖小，苟能度地經營。闢成公園，當為古塔增輝。卅五年麥建中奉敬來宰是邦，傷𣸪（復）員伊始，瘡痍滿目，百廢待興，亟思盡力所及，次第進行。特設公園籌建委員會，㠯（以）塔名名園，延當地人士陳堅夫、劉寄超、陳邦、林次剛、黃荷生、蕭鵬𠃧、黃燦、林為標、黃詩杰諸君子董其事。募捐與築木日告成，雖屬因陋就簡，而入園，既有佳木異卉，登高復可瀏覽全城，足㠯（以）𣸯（游）目騁懷，藉供遊憩之所。後之逰（游）斯園者，當共念建設，方殷此舉，不過彂（發）其端耳，是為序。
