English: Wanping Castle (宛平城), also called Wanping Fortress, a fortress located at the eastern end of Marco Polo Bridge in Beijing. The Museum of Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is located within the walls of the fortress; a sculpture park, outside of it. The area is decorated with a grate variety of sculpture works, from the Kangxi Emperor's stelae to hundreds of stone barrels by Cai Xueshi (蔡学仕), inscribed with the list of crimes of the invaders upon the Chinese people.
