These"fairies"embrace each other in groups,hanging into strings.Seen from a distance,the flowers look like lovely"small birds"living in the branches.

Heque flower is a national second-class protected plant.It means joy and happiness.Because of its shape which resembles a sparrow(Heque),it is called like that in Guangzhou.

HeQue flowers grow rapidly and are green throughout the year.With thick stems,they bloom between the branches and climb through the cracks.

在春意盎然的广州流花湖公园，禾雀花跟随春天的步伐翩然枝头，小精灵们三五成群相拥，吊挂成串，一只只如玉温润的“禾雀”栖息在枝头，可爱无比。

禾雀花，又名白花油麻藤，蝶形花科黎豆属木质藤本植物，是国家二类保护植物。禾雀花寓意欢快、快乐，因形酷似禾雀而得名，广州街坊称它为“雀仔花”。禾雀花四季常青，生长迅速，蔓茎粗壮，越冠飞枝，攀石穿缝。
